Bosque del Apache Wildlife Refuge

Welcome to the new blog! I've contemplated this for a while now, and finally decided that it is time to have a place to post some of the hundreds of pictures I take. This will let me use the space on "Never ending Journey" for the chatter and the space on "If Only I Could Find My Pen . . ." for the literary endeavors (I've really been lax on this last one, haven't I?).

This collection is from the Bosque del Apache Wildlife Refuge, a wonderful place about an hour and a half from my home. I spent the day with a friend here, and shot over 300 photos. Boy, was it hard to narrow them. And, yes I did narrow the selection.

The first few shots are of metal statuary at the museum. Not real critters, but fascinating art work.

Old Lady - You're the first one who found this!!! I haven't quite finished setting it up, so I hadn't "advertised" it, and I was wondering who was going to be the first observant ones!! Congratulations!!!

st - Well, congratulations for being observant, too! I'll get some further touches done to the page, and then "announce" it. Thanks for the visit!

Can't get over how beautiful your pictures are, Lyn!!!

You are obviously a woman of many talents.

Catherine - Thanks. I hope you're right about talent. I'm thinking seriously of seeking a source for selling some photos as prints within the next few months. We'll see!!

I just noticed this *new* blog. Love the pictures. The other morning when I was warming up the car there was some pretty heavy frost on the car that was in cool patterns. I thought of those other pictures you took and thought "I should go get my camera". Then I realized I was already running late.

I love it! I especially love how you capture the beauty around you. It seems that few see it, much less have the ability to capture it. I look forward to more.

Caroline - I still have work to do on the blog. I'm struggling with adding things and trying to read the help pages, but I haven't had time for more than a month to try to figure it out. I'll get there, eventually! Glad you found it!

s3 - I'll be posting more when I can. It takes a long time to upload pictures, and things have been crazy-busy (as you WELL know), so I hope to get to it soon. Glad you visited! And thanks about the comment. I'm beginning to look seriously into possibilities to printing, framing and selling some of them. Who knows where that might lead?

Hi, I was just adding your pen blog to my blogroll on Benevolent Magic when lo, I discovered this one.

It is really special and I'm happy to be able to make that comment here. Well done.

Goodlife.

Robert - Thank you! I haven't "advertised" this on as yet because I'm struggling with getting all of the features set up. I'm trying to learn to use hmtl. Meanwhile, I'm just letting it surprise those of you who are a bit more observant than the rest. I'll be adding pictures again soon.
